Ik the yoko part is supposed to be a joke but it always makes so sad bc yoko can actually sing very calmy and beautifully! Yoko had always sand like that as an experiment because in the 70s there hadn't been anything like that and people (from what i've seen) always enjoyed it or at least were interested in what she did! Of course i think THAT part of yokos singing is horrible now but then it was cool and crazy!!! Yoko, john, ringo, and sean have always been my favs :) (An example of her good singing would be "Sisters, O Sisters", "Song For John", and " Remember Love"!)

yoko was part of an avant garde movement & ahead of her time. a lot of what she did musically became popular later. i couldnt stand her singing either, but that's the truth. when she wasnt doing that kind of psychic screech style of singing she actually could sing pleasantly. also, she was a creative, fun, and positive person, which impressed and inspired a jaded john. he & the group had made it but were now fighting and members like george were starting other interests. a huge amt of racism is in play here in the comments section & amongst yoko haters. u dont see comments about paul's kid disrupting rehearsals & recording sessions

I watched this episode when I was like 5, and I remember the moment at 1:04 vividly You see, I had no idea who the Beatles, much less Yoko Ono, were at the time. I was just watching the episode blankly, not really understanding the plot but tolerating it because it was a cartoon on TV. But when Yoko Ono came up and just started screeching loudly to cheer Brain up, I lost my sides. I just thought she was some random lady they made for the episode who came out of nowhere and she was just crazy, making it like 10x funnier Some things are just better out of context
